Cooling-off for Distance Contracts
Where the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions or other consumer rules in Japan grant a cooling-off period for specified continuous services sold remotely, you may cancel within the statutory window without penalty, subject to any already-consumed digital content rules.
Eligibility
Refund requests apply to paid enrollments directly with ScriptSystem Dev. Purchases through resellers follow the reseller policy.
14-Day Window (Standard Programs)
For standard cohort programs, you may request a full refund up to 14 days after payment if the cohort has not started and you have not downloaded proprietary workbooks marked as final release.
Partial Refunds
If you withdraw after materials are released but before the second live session, we may offer a partial credit toward a future cohort minus an administrative fee of 12,000 JPY, unless law requires a different treatment.
Non-refundable Items
Custom statements of work, on-site travel already booked, or third-party license fees paid on your behalf are non-refundable once incurred.
Process
Email hello@scriptsystemdev.one with your enrollment reference, reason, and preferred resolution. We respond within five business days with next steps.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are initiated within ten business days. Banking timelines may add additional days.
Cancellation by Us
If we cancel a cohort, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another date at no additional charge.
Exceptions
No refund for violations of acceptable use, abusive conduct, or sharing credentials that breach enrollment terms.
Consumer Assistance
Consumers in Japan may contact consumer centers for guidance on statutory rights. We will honor applicable mandatory consumer protections.
